Edmonton–Gold Bar was established as a provincial constituency in 1971. David served the consituency as MLA from 2012 to 2015.
Gold Bar is where David Dorward was raised and where he chose to raise his family. For him and his wife Janice, it is their home and will remain so. It is a safe, stable and clean community, and David cares deeply that it will stay that way. In doing so, Edmonton–Gold Bar will continue to attract new residents and continue to be a place where longtime residents can retire and live in comfort and dignity.
The Edmonton–Gold Bar constituency borders are generally the North Saskatchewan River on the north, Mill Creek ravine and Gateway Blvd on the west, Whitemud Drive on the south and Anthony Henday on the east. With active community leagues in all of the Gold Bar communities, individuals and families have the opportunity to participate in several community initiatives and events.
It is important for you, your friends and neighbours help continue our tradition of strong and local representation in the legislature. Please give David Dorward your consideration as the next MLA for Edmonton-Gold Bar, the first step being the nomination process.
